About

Phoenix Family Supports & Services was born from lived experience and professional expertise: as an AuDHD mom of three and a Behavior Specialist with a background in Early Childhood Education, ADHD certification, and GoZen instruction, our founder saw firsthand how traditional strategies often left families and classrooms overwhelmed. Discovering ABA—paired with the latest neuroscience, trauma-informed practice, and a heart-centered approach—transformed daily life: more calm, less reactivity, deeper understanding. Today, our nonprofit unites moms, dads, educators, coaches, therapists, physicians, behavior analysts, and social workers to bridge the gap between school supports and home, where families still struggle. We help children be supported for the brains they have—not the ones we wish they had—strengthening family bonds and promoting overall well-being through practical guidance, coaching, and programs that build resilience. Our advocacy extends to schools, libraries, and park districts, creating community-wide change. Let us help you understand—and work with—the brain you have. Connect with us to get started.

Do you or anyone in your family have ADHD, ASD, or another NeuroDevelopmental Disability or Delay (NDD/D)?
If so, I'd be willing to bet that your life has not been easy...
I say this with confidence, because I am an AuDHD mom of three beautiful neurodivergent humans. What's more is I have a degree in Early Childhood Education, am an ADHD Certified Educator, and a GoZen Certified Instructor.  I am also a Behavior Specialist working with children with ASD and other NDD/Ds.
So why was I still struggling with supporting my own kids, and the kids in my class using the traditional approach that we all learned growing up? The strategies we learned in college, as well as all the professional development on the job, were only making the whole class more stressed out. To make matters worse, when the class got stressed, I got anxious, depressed, frustrated, and angry. Angry that nothing worked.  Angry that nobody understood. Angry that none of us were succeeding. Angry at the system that felt so against everything that we needed...
And then I found ABA (Applied Behavior Analysis) and it changed our life! Combined with the latest neurological and trauma-based research, and a heart-centered approach, we're happier, calmer, less reactive, and we're building a deep understanding for other's needs.
And now, I'm more determined than ever to change the world's approach to, and the understanding of, the NDD/D community. Phoenix Family Supports & Services is a nonprofit organization comprised of moms, dads, educators, coaches, therapists, physicians, behavior analysts, and social workers.
After recognizing a gap between school supports and home, where families were still suffering, we realized how we can help. The impacts of improving the quality of life at home are far-reaching. The effects of supporting kids with the brain they have, not the brain we wish they had, are even more broad.
We are dedicated to bridging the gap by providing unwavering support and guidance to families in need. Our mission is to strengthen family bonds, empower individuals within family structures, and promote overall family wellbeing. Through a range of programs and initiatives, we strive to create a positive impact on families, fostering resilience and unity. Our advocacy mission also reaches out to schools, libraries, and park districts.
Let me help you understand, and work with, the brain you have! Connect with us through our services below. We can't wait to hear from you!
